The UProot Project Podcast Trailer

Christopher Barnes: Hey, are you
tired of hearing the same shit

about God and what other people
think God got to say about you?

It's time to break free.

Check out The UProot Project
Podcast, where we're digging

deep, challenging toxic beliefs
we've been handed and uproot

what no longer serves us. We're
planting something new,

something healthier, in its
place.

I'm Chris, one of your hosts,
joined by my friend Whitney, a

mental health professional, and
my wife, Christian who's a

fellow traveler on the journey
of deconstructing and rebuilding

faith.

Together, we explore the
intersections of spirituality,

mental health, and what it means
to live fully, learn openly, and

love deeply.

Now I'm going to tell you up
front, this is a predominantly

black, progressive faith space.

That's the vantage point that
we're coming from. All are

welcome, and in this space, we
tackle the hard questions, we

challenge the harmful
narratives, and we sit with the

complexity of it all, and we
shoot the shit here and there.

Are you ready to uproot the
toxic and plant something new?

Then join us!
New episodes drop every two

weeks, starting September 25.
